Concurrently, he produced an equally diverse assortment of ensembles. As the Cleveland Chamber Symphony producer, Mr. Charlillo was honored to work with many contemporary composers, such as Morton Subotnick, Witold Lutosławski, and Gunther Schuller. His production work also extended to many popular artists, including Boots Randolph, Bonnie Bramlett, and others.

Mr. Charlillo is among the first generation of musicians to fully utilize the computer as a musical instrument. His influences include interactions with colleagues and pioneers in the field like Kenneth Hamann and Robert Moog. During the evolution of computer music, he witnessed soundtrack technology develop into the lush virtual scores we have all become accustomed to in major motion pictures. During this time, Mr. Charlillo has programmed and performed deep-sampled scores for planetarium shows, videos, and popular artists. His work in computer music and virtual soundtracks has now come full circle to the production of soundtracks for Bach’s sacred music. These virtual soundtracks, in conjunction with live performers, comprise the Bach Project (aka Virtual Bach Project). The combined forces of live and virtual performances allow for integrating rare Baroque period instruments into a real-time orchestral setting while maintaining the era's correct feel and performance practice.

Mr. Charlillo is a devout Christian who strives to use his talents to praise the Risen Christ. His other musical interests include compositions and arrangements in the jazz fusion genre. Formerly from the Bay Area of California, he now lives with his wife and cats in Northeast Ohio.
